    Mike Edwards has a passion for helping others to achieve their best. His career to date has reflected his passion, as he’s continued to grow and build on a diverse range of experiences that have allowed him to make an impact in many disease areas and touch many specialties in the healthcare space, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry. Mike most recently joined the Novartis Hematology Team as a Marketing Executive in early 2018. He’s currently dedicated to driving a new mission of making a difference in the lives of people affected by sickle cell disease in the US, an overlooked and misunderstood condition that disproportionately affects those of black ancestry. Mike recently led the launch of Generation S, an innovative campaign that was co-created with US sickle cell patients and the advocacy community to increase awareness, educate, and provide a platform to share and amplify the unheard stories of those living with this debilitating condition. In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending as much time as he can with his friends and family (including his 4 daughters), coaching youth basketball, volunteering in his community, traveling, experiencing new cultures, enjoying some laughs, and avidly supporting his favorite sports teams.
